Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
Some laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, treat information about your body and wellbeing as "consumer health data".
This page explains how we handle it.
What counts as health data in Quiet
- In the check-in: the body signals you choose (such as tension, sleep or digestion), how full your cup feels, how you want to feel, and what drains you.
- In the Quiet app (when it launches): your cycle, stress levels, sleep hours, physical symptoms and energy levels that you choose to log.
How we collect it
Only from you, when you answer the check-in or log something in the app.
Your check-in answers are processed on your own device and are not sent to us.
Why we use it
Only to give you your reading and, in the app, your own insights and tools.
We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
We do not share your consumer health data with anyone, except the service providers that store it for us under contract, and only so they can do that.
We will ask for your separate consent before any other sharing.
Your rights
- To know whether we hold your consumer health data, and to see it.
- To withdraw your consent.
- To have it deleted.
To use any of these rights, write to bat8wom@gmail.com. We'll answer within 45 days.
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. If you're not satisfied with the outcome, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General.
